 New X-66 owner
Greetings,
I recently came into the possession of a nice 1970 X-66 with Series 12 tone cabinet. It plays, though it needs some attention. Even still, I like the sound it has, a nice alternative to my B-3 and A-100's. Looking forward to working on it too, I enjoy working on the older Hammond models and Leslie cabinets, and the X-66 looks like a fascinating technical challenge as well. I'm amazed it plays as well as it does, it had mice in the base at one time and the scanner belt looks like it will soon break. Despite this the organ is in overall very good condition, and should clean up and fix up wonderfully. I have been really enjoying it so far, it's a splendid instrument.
