 X-66 Reliability
How reliable would you expect a Hammond X-66 ( one owner non commercial ) to be . Does the X-66 use Germanium or Silicon transistors or any integrated circuits. Does the organ tend to have problems after being moved. I see it used with the Leslie 122 and that is the only connector box that I see that Leslie made for it. Wouldn't a later 4 channel Leslie be a better match. I would think that the 122 would not be good for the Orchestral voices and percussions. I have a pristine Hammond A-102 with Leslie 122 ( the Leslie owned from new ). These have had a total of 2 resistors replaced over the years and some new 6500 tubes for the Leslie - so would an X-66 give me headaches I do like the sound. Thanks
